Torenu (to-re-new) - to resume (an activity) after an interruption, to begin again.

 For me it was putting music back into my life.  I know that is an odd thing to say, but after a painful moment in my past that caused me to stop listening to my favorite music, going to concerts & festivals, following local bands, I even moved out-of-state to start over.  

But, time changes everything, and after some self-examination I asked myself what is the ONE thing that has always made me happy___

MUSIC!  

The next question was WHY did I ever give it up?  

After kicking myself for many years of isolation, I started my search for steely guitars, thundering drums, celestial vocals, and rocking musicians.  And, with all the NEW musical inspiration I found during the pandemic lockdown this overwhelming urgency to discover what I had been missing  for so many years sent me on a musical journey traveling most of 2021 seeking live music, and putting all my energy into Torenu.  

I hope to have great experiences following the music, meeting awesome folks, and hearing about your stories of how music has touched your life in a unique way.  I want to hear and write about the heartbeat of America through this musical journey, how we relate to one another, and the common ground we all walk.
